TATU CRO COMPOST TURNER

Compost Turners: Transforming Waste into Valuable Soil

Composting is an essential practice for minimising costs, distributing valuable fertiliser, and restoring soil health. It’s a natural process where organic debris is transformed into nutrient-rich compost.

General Equipment Features

  • Function: The equipment is used to turn organic debris, aiding in the biological composting process.
  • Power: It’s powered by a tractor’s traction bar, requiring a 4×4 tractor with at least 100 HP.
  • Tractor Specifications: The tractor must have a 540-rpm power take-off, a super-speed reducer to achieve a speed of 200 meters/hour, and a fast-coupling hydraulic system.
  • Transportation: The Civemasa compost equipment is equipped with four tires and a hydraulic system that allows the finned rotor tunnel to tilt vertically.
  • Applications: It’s used in sugar and alcohol plants, distilleries, agro-industries, and city garbage recycling plants.
  • Compost Yard: The ideal compost yard should be a leveled, compacted, and sterilized area with a slope of 1% to 3% to help with water flow.
