In South Africa, the T Series offered a variety of hydraulic and transmission options with its HiTech and Versu model variants. The T193 HiTech was the last available model and was sold until 2019.
The HiTech models are well proven in South Africa with leading farmers making them their first choice. The enhanced driving comfort of the HiTech is based on a computer-controlled shuttle and three-step powershift transmission. Combined with a heavy-duty mechanical gearbox, the powertrain offers upto 36 gears in forward and reverse. Up to 11 different ratios are available for working at 4-11 km/h.
The legendary reliability of the Hi-Tech T series tractors are what set them apart from the rest of the competition with profi magazine finding “Never before has a long-term test tractor logged so few repairs”.
Used Valtra T1 and T3 series tractors are sought after in South Africa and have a good resale value.
