TATU Marchesan was the first company to successfully design and patent a long lasting, high quality oil bath bearing for agricultural use. The sealed bearing requires no greasing or other maintenance and is filled with oil to last the lifetime of the implement. Duo-cone seal design keeps dust and moiture out and oil in and despite being copied by many opposition companies, its rugged reliability has yet to be beaten. The tapered roller bearing withstand the high force and impact exerted by the discs and will keep turning even after many disc blade replacements.
Various sizes of bearings are available ex stock from Valtrac with special sizes and applications available on request from the factory. After market replacement bearings for many other brands of disc harrows are also available.
